Terah, a Portuguese startup founded in October 2022, is preparing for a significant expansion in Brazil with the support of FHE Ventures, which promises to accelerate the growth of the company in the country. The innovative company has developed a unique solution in the world for the complete management of medicines and consumer guidance through interactive and digitized package inserts, raising the question about the existence of paper package inserts, which increase the size and weight of the box and, therefore, the value of the drug, besides being a pollutant after the disposal of the box and the drug. Terah is the first global solution for 360° drug management. The application allows users to receive detailed information, schedule reminders and receive alerts.The startup identifies possible drug interactions and allows ordering directly with pharmacies. core business terah's features are offered to the end user, with pharmacies as paying customers through a fee on orders. “The initial objectives include optimizing the product, increasing its robustness and improving performance, as well as realizing the expansion plan.The strategy is to implement a pilot project in a delimited region, with the aim of eventually covering the entire Brazilian territory”, explains Joao Mota, CEO of Terah.
The company is already working to implement its first round of investments. In an advanced phase of acceleration in Brazil, the company believes that it is the ideal time to start raising funds. So far, more than 150 thousand euros have been invested, the equivalent of R$ 800 thousand, in the development of the solution. By the end of 2024, Terah expects to be close to 100 thousand users and have around 5 thousand associated pharmacies. Currently, the startup has already established partnerships with about 450 pharmacies in Portugal.

The application allows the reading of drug codes, providing detailed information, identifying drug interactions and therapeutic duplications, and facilitates the ordering of medicines directly from the pharmacies”, concludes Joao Mota.
