Brazilian spending on Mother's Day rises 15,46% in 2025, Getnet points out

Getnet, a technology company for payment solutions of the PagoNxt group, of the Santander group, discloses sales results in Brazil during the week of Mother's Day, comparing the period from 2024 to 2025. Retail revenues grew by 15.46%, driven especially by the increase in digital commerce, which registered a growth of 21.71%, and by the increase of 13.99% in physical sales.
 

Physical commerce continues to account for more than 90% of total purchases. Although there has been no growth in volume, physical retail has recorded an increase of 16.9% in the average ticket.
 

Among the sectors that stood out in the increase in consumption, the perfume, cosmetics and beauty products led with a high expressive of 19.08%, reflecting the search for more personalized and sophisticated gifts. Already the footwear segment registered an increase of 9.19%, indicating a valuation of fashion and utility items at the time of choosing the gifts.
