More context is needed., a fintech specializing in secured and payroll loans for individuals, has moved to a new home. Located in the Parque da Cidade Complex in São Paulo, the 400 m² space was designed to accommodate the expected expansion of doubling its team by the end of this year, following a fivefold growth in operations in 2023.
To arrive at the ideal model for the new headquarters, Up.p conducted a survey with its employees, identifying the characteristics and functionalities they would like to have in the new space.
With almost three-meter-high ceilings and a broad view of São Paulo's South Zone, the new office fulfilled several requests from Up.pers (as the employees are called), such as multiple spacious meeting rooms, a large common area, televisions, and vending machines... Snacks with a variety of nutritious product options.
"We're very happy with this change. We held individual conversations with our Up.pers, and the new office is the realization of what we heard. The space is welcoming, uncomplicated, and upbeat. These choices are directly linked to our culture and our values," says Patricia Sanchez, Head of People Management and Organizational Culture at Up.p.
Every detail of the space was designed to represent the team and the company's purpose. Even the room's colors, planned to further connect with employees, have a meaning: blue represents technology and trust; pink, modernity; yellow, joy and relaxation; and orange, prosperity and success.
With a concept open space To facilitate interaction between people, the office architecture highlights biophilia, emphasizing green spaces in a bid to promote well-being and emotional comfort. "By listening to and understanding everyone's needs, we were able to design a personalized, user-friendly environment. We received dozens of pieces of feedback and managed to implement most of them. It's very important to us that employees feel a sense of belonging and identify with their environment," adds [Name/Title - if applicable]. Patricia.
