Brazilian manufacturer of electric 100% vans starts operation with Amazon

Arrow Mobility, manufacturer of the only national electric van 100%, has initiated an impact partnership in the logistics sector. The company delivered the first unit of the first batch of “Arrow ONE” electric vehicle fleet to To Do Green responsible for Amazon deliveries in Brazil. The official delivery was made by the president of the National Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA), Marcio de Lima Leite, to the owner of the logistics corporation, Paula Simoes, during Eletric Move, an electric vehicle fair that took place this month in Serra Gaucha.

This partnership marks the beginning of an innovative operation aimed at expanding the use of electric vehicles in Brazil, driven by the e-commerce giant. Amazon, which has a vast logistics network of more than 100 poles distributed throughout the country, intends to increase efficiency and reduce carbon emissions with the adoption of vehicles. The first delivery is part of a larger plan, in which four vehicles will be integrated into the To Do Green fleet, a logtech focused on green and sustainable deliveries.

Amazon invests in electric fleet for Brazil operations

In 2024, Amazon expanded deliveries with electric vehicles in partnership with To Do Green, reaching the mark of 16 stations that operate with motorcycles and vans powered by electricity. The use of vehicles is aligned with the company's global sustainability strategy, and in Brazil, these points already serve more than 70 cities in the interior of Sao Paulo.

Arrow Mobility is a key part of this transformation, offering a sustainable and efficient solution for the last mile. The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program, which drives the creation of logistics companies by people who deliver packages sold by Amazon, currently has 41 entrepreneurs in the country and more than three thousand drivers.

“We want to make a difference in the logistics sector and the world as a whole, reinforcing the importance of cleaner alternatives. Delivering our first electric 100% van during an event like Electric Move, with the presence of local authorities and important sectors of the automotive industry, is a milestone for Arrow and for the future of green logistics in Brazil”, he said Marcelo Simon, Head of Business at the manufacturer.
