In the era of mobility, having strategic communication tools to maintain a relationship with the consumer is fundamental and RCS (Rich Communication Services) has stood out in the market. A survey conducted by Google revealed that 74% of users claim that RCS would make them more likely to want to communicate with a brand.
In this context, the leadership in the growth of RCS in Brazil is being driven by platforms such as Grupo Optima Digital, one of the largest messaging distributors in Brazil, with recognized expertise in telecommunications, SaaS and proprietary AI.
The company recorded a monthly volume of 18 million RCS messages in May this year, a significant increase from the 800 thousand sent in the same month of the previous year.The current monthly volume of RCS in Optima Digital already represents more than half of the total messages trafficked throughout the year 2023, which was 28 million.
In addition to the growth of RCS, it also registered growth in text messaging (SMS). In May 2024, 740 million SMS were sent, an increase of 42.3% compared to the 520 million sent in the same month of 2023.
