Companies that adopt ERP survive more than 5 years, points out a survey by Bling

A survey conducted by Bling, LWSA ERP platform, aimed at SMEs, shows that after 60 months of life, companies using ERP have a greater chance of survival, compared to those that do not use a management system. This month, the company brings innovations such as “My” business”, a smart dashboard to improve small business management (read more below). 

The diagnosis made by Bling includes a base of CNPJs that use the company's services, which were compared with the CNPJs base opened by the Federal Revenue Service, since 2020. In comparison, companies that use ERP have a survival of 10 percentage points higher (83.4%) compared to other companies (74%) in the market that have not adopted the use of an ERP. 

Recent studies of Sebrae (Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Companies (Sebrae) show a universe of 38% of companies closing before completing 5 years, with its management as one of the main reasons for closing the business. 

“In this Bling survey, we seek to translate for companies and entrepreneurs how important it is to have an efficient business management and, with technological advancement, having this all digitized, gathered in a single environment, makes this management more effective and is a major factor in the longevity of the business”, says Marcelo Navarini, director of Bling.

Management solution for SMEs

With more than 300 thousand users, Bling is today one of the main management solutions, aimed at SMEs. In the 4th quarter of 2024, the volume of sales by own stores and transacted in marketplaces through the ERP operations and marketplaces integrators of LWSA, such as Bling, reached a value of R$ 19.5 billion, growth of 16.3% compared to the same period of 2023. In the year 2024, the growth was 18.41TP 3T, reaching 16 billion, 141060. 

The data reinforces the potential of Bling that with “My Business”, plans to offer a complete and integrated view of operations for companies, with continuously updated data and interactive dashboards, without the need to use external tools. The functionality was developed for retailers operating in one or more channels, whether physical store, e-commerce or marketplaces. 

The solution was created from the incorporation of Qint, an analytics startup founded by Bruno Leite and Daniel Hiraoka, and since 2024 they have led the initiative with the Bling team. “We have the need to simplify and optimize processes. In this sense, My Business was designed to provide a more efficient management, focusing on the visualization of important operational indicators”, explains Navarini.

The functionality allows the generation of powerful insights on overall sales performance and performance by channel, seller or product, and provides forecasts on the behavior of inventories.“Sses dashboards help in making fundamental decisions of any business. The information can be analyzed in several periods of time, whether in a product or sales channel perspective, individual or grouped, allowing a complete understanding of the company”, says the director of Bling.

Other insights include the analytical view of ABC curve of simple products or compositions, including the % markup performed and the representativeness in the billing period, the forecast of inventories, how long it should last, and the suggestion of purchases, which ensures agility for companies with many items and compositions in their catalog. 

It also allows data integration from up to 10 different Bling accounts, facilitating management tracking of companies with multiple operations, plus more dashboard images on the desktop, chat images on whatsapp and video use case.
