An unprecedented survey by ABIMO (Brazilian Association of Medical Device Industry) with the support of the CFO (Federal Council of Dentistry) and executed by the Italian consultancy Key-Stone, highlighted the role of e-commerce among dentists in Brazil. The survey revealed that 70% of professionals regularly use online platforms for the purchase of dental products, a higher rate than that observed in European countries.
In addition, 21% of Brazilian dentists turn to e-commerce occasionally, making the digital channel responsible for 66% of dental product purchases IO far ahead of 34% from traditional channels.
This preference reflects not only the practicality and variety offered by online platforms, but also a growing movement of digitalization in the Brazilian dental sector, consolidating e-commerce as an indispensable tool in the daily lives of offices.
