IT Professional Day: specialization and remote vacancies abroad

Among the positions with the greatest talent shortage in recruitment platforms such as Indeed, more than half are connected to the IT area, a challenge that should affect nine out of ten organizations by 2026, according to IDC. For example, 43% of the positions for software engineers on the Brazilian Indeed platform remain open for 60 days or more, leading the shortage ranking. On the other hand, Brazil stands out as an emerging pole of IT talent and its specialized workforce is sought by foreign companies, which are offering dollar compensation opportunities, with work formats that reconcile professional well-being and personal life.

The adoption of new technologies has become a great ally in the talent shortage scenario, allowing teams to achieve high performance without compromising the well-being of professionals. According to a global survey by Freshworks, the IT department is the one that most uses AI in the day to day work, with 89% of professionals using the tool at least once a month. They are ahead of Marketing (86%), Sales (74%), Accounting (74%idic), HR (77%), Customer Service (3T3T),3T3T3.

In terms of productivity, IT professionals participating in the study estimate that using AI solutions could save, on average, 4 hours and 55 minutes per week, the equivalent of 30 working days in a year.
