De-Bus closes international partnership for sales of intercity and interstate bus tickets

Deônis, a marketplace for online road tickets, announces a strategic partnership with Moovit, the most used urban mobility app in the world. This union provides more practicality for passengers who travel intercity and interstate trips, allowing the purchase of tickets directly through the Moovit app, in addition to simplifying travel to the places of embarkation and disembarkation in each city in the country.

With this new partnership, Moovit users will find a fourth tab on the app's home screen, called “Tickets”. From there, it is possible to select origin, destination and travel dates, access multiple route options and purchase tickets from several consolidated bus companies throughout Brazil, which are integrated with the de- bus.

“At the bus, we work to facilitate access to road transport throughout Brazil, connecting people to thousands of destinations with practicality, economy and safety. Integration with Moovit represents a major breakthrough in this mission: by taking our routes to one of the world’s leading mobility apps, we expanded our digital presence and made the experience of the road traveler unique and more complete — from planning to arrival at the destination.”, highlights Mariana Malveira, head of product for the deônibus.

With more than a decade of history, Deônis has around 300 partner road operators that provide thousands of routes for travelers. The company has already served approximately 7 million customers in Brazil, in addition to acting as a technological ally of several buses, chartering, bus stations and agencies across the country. In 2024, it was acquired by the Israeli group Travelier, a global leader in travel technology for land and sea transport.

“ The partnership with Moovit only reinforces Deônibus” commitment to make road transport more accessible and digital. We want to make the shopping experience increasingly present in the travelers' routine, consolidating itself as the most connected marketplace for travel and mobility”, says Fernando Santos, commercial director of Deônibus.

This initiative extends the possibilities of regional travel planning, announced by Moovit in 2024. “ The Moovit app is a mobility solution center where people find out about how to get to their destinations in a simple and efficient way. The partnership with Deônis now enables passengers to also buy road tickets in a practical way, saving time and avoiding queues”, says Tomer Asheroff, vice president for business development at Moovit.

Passengers can purchase tickets directly from the Moovit app to androidiOS or in the version web.
