A digital insurer 88i announced a partnership with Posta Já, a goods transport management company and a leader in package deliveries nationwide. The initiative will enable stores that sell their products through e-commerce and marketplaces to access 88i’s smart insurance solutions within the company’s apps.
The partnership is based on a combination of technology and innovation and allows Posta Já’s customers to access protection quickly and securely within an environment that is already familiar to them. Policy issuance and claims monitoring occur in the digital environment without the need for external action.
A key differentiator of 88i’s solution is the control over activating and deactivating coverage, limiting charges to the period when the goods are being transported. Payment is processed within the customer’s wallet on the platform, with data received via API.
“The traditional model of insurance, with its rigid, barely customizable coverage, is unattractive to the online sales market and the current scenario of digital acceleration. This is a collaboration that will reduce bureaucracy, eliminate friction, and offer greater transparency to customers seeking to protect their shipments,” highlights Rodrigo Ventura, founder and CEO of 88i.
For Posta Já, the partnership with 88i reinforces its commitment to innovation and efficiency by offering solutions that meet customer needs more effectively. “The partnership brings more security, speed, and trust to Brazilian e-commerce. This collaboration enhances the value of our package delivery services for our customers.” says Henrique Pangracio, COO of Posta Já.
“The collaboration combines the expertise of both companies to simplify digital claims management, focused on delivering a better user experience with faster reimbursement times. Both companies share the principle of placing our customers at the center of decisions and adapting the business to their interests,” concludes Rodrigo Ventura.
