Datlo receives R$14 million in round led by Hiker Ventures to scale market intelligence solution with AI

Datlo, a startup that applies artificial intelligence to Go To Market strategies, has just received an investment of R$14 million in a seed extension round led by Hiker Ventures, a venture capital fund of AF Invest. The investment will be directed towards enhancing the platform, developing new products, and preparing for the internationalization of the business.

Founded in 2019, Datlo began its journey with a strong partner, receiving investment from YCombinator, one of the largest accelerators in the United States. With two proprietary AI models developed in Brazil, it is one of the pioneers in the country in combining artificial intelligence and data analysis to optimize business prospecting and expansion.

From their platform, customers access public data from various sources and sectors, such as economy, population, education, and agribusiness. Cross-referenced with internal information, the tool generates strategic insights to identify new markets and business expansion opportunities.

According to Mateus Felini, CEO and co-founder of the startup, the proposal is to democratize access to key data that, although available, are still not easily accessible. "We realized that market information was very fragmented. Our mission is to make this access simpler and more efficient, helping companies of all sizes to make smarter, faster, and more accurate decisions," he explains.

Datlo currently serves 180 clients, including Raízen, Basf, iFood, Alpargatas, and Nestlé, with 1,500 active users. "Adding up the annual revenue of our clients, 51% of Brazil's GDP already uses our solution for strategic decision-making," Felini adds.

With the new investment, the goal is to jump from the current R$10 million in ARR (annual recurring revenue) to R$20 million by the end of 2026, in addition to expanding the portfolio of solutions and preparing the operation for new countries. One of the upcoming launches is the Monitor, a tool that will map the flow of people by region.

Raisa Spagnol, co-founder and CTO of Datlo, emphasizes that the joining of forces is another important asset formed in this round. "We will accelerate our strategies even more by merging our expertise in go-to-market technology with networking and the know-how to scale companies from Hiker," she projects.

For Guilherme Chernicharo, partner at Hiker Ventures, the investment reflects the maturity of the product and the competitive advantage of the startup's technology. "The platform's execution capacity is eye-catching. Now, it's time to help them step on the accelerator to scale this solution even further," he highlights.

This is the second investment announced by Hiker Ventures in 2025 and the sixth in its trajectory. The company also invested R$14.5 million in MT Bank; R$14.2 million in the fintech Greg; participated in the R$14.5 million rounds in Fluna, a hyper automation solutions provider for processes and workflows with AI, and R$14.5 million in the healthtech Radar Fit; and invested R$14.4 million in the re-commerce platform Semexe.
