The couple Danilo and Priscila, born in Janauba (MG), transformed the passion for electric cars into an innovative business of urban mobility. Less than two years after launching 100% Electric, the urban transport application already performs about 3 thousand races per month in the city and achieves annual revenues of R$ 500 thousand, serving residents and strengthening the sustainable culture in the region.
As the name delivers, the fleet is 100% composed of electric cars. For passengers, an economical, comfortable, fast and sustainable race; for drivers, a chance to have even greater gains than traditional applications. They have no costs with electricity, IPVA or maintenance of the cars, which are fully covered by the company.
“Our focus is on punctuality, quality and the positive experience offered to passengers. We want each race to inspire confidence for both those in the car and those who drive. Our goal is for sustainable transport to become the natural choice in the city”, says Danilo.
The project began with an investment of about R$ 200 thousand, intended for the purchase of the first electric vehicle, the installation of solar panels and the initial structuring of the application. But before that, the idea came from a personal nuisance: the daily commutes between Janauba and the neighboring city, where the couple ran a lottery house, were costly for their pocket and the environment.
“I realized that it was possible to unite economy, sustainability and an innovative business opportunity in our city. Each race we do represents an alternative of mobility and a step to reduce the emission of pollutants. This motivated us to dream of an even greater impact on the future”, explains Danilo.
Initially, Danilo himself operated the application, conducting test runs and learning how to configure the platform ' he uses the Machine, Gaudium white label software aimed at mobility and deliveries. Then, friends and selected drivers entered the operation, allowing the expansion of the fleet.
Today, the application has eight drivers, all uniformed and trained to ensure safety and excellence. The minimum rate is R$ 9.99, which allows you to attend long runs in the city. Another attraction is the remuneration of drivers, who receive R$ 2,500 to R$ 3,000 liquids per month.
The couple plans to consolidate the operation in Janauba and expand to neighboring cities, maintaining their own fleet of electric vehicles and making room for new drivers, who already have electric cars and are interested in implementing sustainable mobility in their municipalities. The growth strategy also includes partnerships with local companies.
“Our plan is to grow sustainably, bringing electric mobility to neighboring cities and inspiring others to adopt similar solutions. We want the 100% Electric to be a reference not only in comfort and punctuality, but also in innovation and environmental awareness”, concludes Danilo.
