Organized by Traciona!, with the sponsorship of the City of Recife and the support of the Manguezal community, the Brazilian regional stage of the Startup World Cup 2025 Recife is open for pre-registration until July 20. Companies from various sectors can apply to represent the country in the Grand Final, which will take place in Silicon Valley from October 15 to 17. At this event, one startup will be awarded a $1 million investment after evaluation by a jury of global investors.
The eligible sectors for the Recife stage are: Biotechs; Healthtechs; Agtechs; Cleantechs and Energytechs; Fintechs; Smart Cities and Govtech; and Deeptechs & other technologies. On July 25, eight selected participants from the regional phase will be announced to participate in the in-person event in Recife, scheduled for August 8 during the MangueBit event. From these, only one will be chosen to advance to the Global Final.
“Being among the 8 selected to pitch already opens doors with investors and clients, as it is an endorsement evaluated by an international investor.” – Franklin Yamasake, founder of Tracional.
