Black Friday 2024 has once again consolidated itself as the main sales campaign for e-commerce in Brazil, bringing expressive numbers that demonstrate the impact of the use of technology and personalized marketing strategies edrone, CRM tool and marketing automation unique to e-commerce, show a growth of more than 400% in Black Friday revenue, compared to the average of normal Fridays in 2024.
In addition, the number of orders last Friday (29/11) was 300% higher than on other Fridays of 2024 and edrone customers recorded a growth of more than 100% in the average value of orders placed during Black Friday, even with the discounts applied on the date, which proves the importance of technological resources such as product recommendation and cross-selling.

ABComm estimated a growth of 10% for Black Friday 2024, from R$ 7.2 BI in 2023 to R$ 7.93 BI in 2024, with growth of 4.68% in the Average Ticket of products. The results obtained by customers of edrone and Magazord exceed these expectations, proving that the use of technology combined with marketing tools and communication with customers increase conversions.
“According to some preliminary information received, we believe that Black Friday was a success, even taking into account the economic factors of the country.What leads us to believe that the estimate of ABComm of R$ 7.93 BI, including the weekend, is close to the national results”, says Alexandre Crivellaro, director of market intelligence of the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce.
Edrone, CRM and marketing automation platform, recorded a total turnover of R$ 29.2 million (for an average of 500 customers) in just one day, 97% higher than in 2023. According to the e-commerce platform Magazord, which serves more than 2 thousand virtual stores in Brazil, the turnover of Black Friday 2024 was R$ 210 million, representing a growth of 31.25% compared to 2023.
Gabriel Linardi, managing partner of Magazord, points out that this growth is the result of the versatility of the channels offered to customers and the strategic preparation for Black Friday.“A attention to the details of each client's business is essential to drive extraordinary results”, he concludes.
