Virtual service with artificial intelligence gains space and impacts the labor market

The labor market has been undergoing a transformation in different areas. While Brazil discusses the future of the human workday, technology is providing alternatives to optimize the performance of people in the world of work.

There is already technology for companies to maintain an active digital service without interruption, time off or vacation, offering a modern consumer experience, without time and patience to expect a return from a professional who is off duty.

“A artificial intelligence will enable people to work less. Certainly, some jobs will cease to exist, those linked to repetitive routines, but certainly other more analytical functions will emerge”, says Marcus Ferreira, founder of the Goian startup Acelerion Hub Innovation.A recent study by Goldman Sachs projects that the rise of AI could directly affect about 300 million jobs around the world. 

He exemplifies with the virtual employees created by his startup, focused on selling or scheduling business meetings, which are already running across the country and that are reducing the need for constant hiring and training of labor.

The startup has consolidated itself as one of the most promising in Brazil by developing AI-based solutions to optimize service with a focus on selling or scheduling meetings or business visits. 

Focus on creativity

Despite fears about the level of jobs that may be lost in the coming years, AI expert Loryane Lanne, partner and CEO of Acelerion, evaluates that technology arises to make people burn out less in their repetitive operational jobs. “The human being has the creative nature. AI is there precisely to make the process repetitive and let people, workers, not exhaust themselves mentally, generating as a consequence a burnout or some kind of depression by doing something that is not so pleasurable”, he says.

The expert points out that even AIs need a specialist to conduct them, which is reflected in the need for increasingly specialized professionals and prepared for the labor market that has been designing. “In the case of service, AI needs an excellent salesperson on her side, observing human behavior and improving their service so that she is also excellent in her role. This salesperson will dominate her area more and more and will not wear out so much with repetitive processes and responses, focusing on what is really important”, he says.

Two employees less

Renato Soriani Vieira, owner of LR Real Estate in Sao Paulo, started using Corretora.AI about two months ago and describes the tool as a true “sales secretary”. Among his duties, he highlights the qualification of leads and the scheduling of visits, which allowed the company to eliminate the need for two employees who previously performed these tasks.

“With Broker.AI, we have already been able to serve 413 customers continuously, 24 hours a day, and I am very close to closing sales thanks to fast and assertive” scheduling, shares Renato.
