Amazon Brazil and RME open registrations for the 5th edition of the free program “Decola Garota” 

Registration is open for the 5th edition of “Decola Garota”, a free program conducted by Amazon Brazil in partnership with the Women Entrepreneurs Network (RME). The initiative is aimed at women with formalized businesses (who already have CNPJ), who work with the sale of physical products and want to expand their performance in e-commerce, especially within the marketplace service of the Amazon.com.br.

Starting in September and activities until December, the new edition of the program will have 100% format online and will train 150 women, five times more than in the previous edition, which had 30 participants. Interested parties must register by August 18, through the site: Link .

The course offers a complete track of Amazon and RME content, including topics such as: time management, assertive communication, customer relationships in e-commerce, brand registration, catalog creation, use of Amazon logistics and preparation for commercial events.

“O Decola Garota is a program already consolidated in our agenda of development and acceleration of female entrepreneurship.Each year, we seek to engage even more women, from all over the country and on several business fronts, so that they can exploit this opportunity to the fullest and have all the tools offered by Amazon to boost their businesses”, says Virginia Pavin, director of the Marketplace of Amazon Brazil.

In addition to training, 50 entrepreneurs with active stores in the Amazon.com.br they will be selected for collective mentoring, with sessions conducted by experts from Amazon and RME. Among them, 20 businesses that meet the program criteria will receive financial resources, of which 17 participants will receive R$500 each, while 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded R$10 thousand, R$6 thousand and R$3 thousand, respectively, to invest in their businesses, as well as post-project mentoring, with the aim of offering continuous support for the development of the business.

Decola Garota seeks to boost access to the digital market and strengthen the financial autonomy of participants.“We want every woman to see in e-commerce a real opportunity for growth. With each edition, the program has proven to be a gateway for them to scale their businesses and expand their sales”, says Ana Fontes, founder of RME.

Who can participate? 
The program is aimed at women from all over Brazil, with formalized businesses (CNPJ), who work with physical products that are not of immediate consumption and do not yet sell or have a recent account in the Amazon.com.br. Businesses must have sales potential at scale and focus on expansion by the marketplace. Candidates from different regions of Brazil will be prioritized, with representation from all states.

Amazon and RME reinforce, with this new edition, the commitment to strengthening female entrepreneurship, promoting access to the digital market, income generation and economic inclusion.
