Prime Day, Amazon's largest offering event, recorded record numbers in its sixth edition in Brazil, boosted sales of partner sellers and highlighted the demand for essential items such as Personal Care and Food products. Prime members were still able to enjoy more than 20 million reais in coupons, in addition to Prime Day offers in the United States, held between July 8 and 11, directly from the Brazilian website and with free shipping. The same day delivery offers also increased more than 4.5 times compared to the 2024 edition.
Amazon Prime offers members economy, convenience and entertainment first and Prime Day this year, provided even more time to buy and save. With a period of early offers, held between July 4 and 14, Prime members were able to enjoy exclusive offers before the official days of the event, which took place on July 15, 16. The event recorded record sales and some of the product categories that most attracted consumers, by unit volume, were Personal Care, Beauty, Books, Food, Home and Kitchen.

During Prime Day 2025, partner sellers recorded their highest sales volume compared to previous editions, creating growth opportunities for several businesses, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). “For Prime Day 2025 we bet on planning the offers in advance to ensure attractive prices, in addition to supplying our inventory at the Amazon Distribution Center.The result of this strategy was an increase of 32% in revenue, compared to Prime Day 2024”, says Mariana Castro, CEO of Minerva Candles.
To ensure the best experience for its customers and meet the high demand of Prime Day 2025, Amazon hired more than 6 thousand temporary workers.Distributed by 12 Distribution Centers and 190 Amazon Delivery Stations in the country, these professionals were trained to optimize shipments throughout Brazil, always prioritizing the well-being and safety of teams.
Prime Day is just one of several benefits available to Prime members. In Brazil, Amazon Prime includes free and fast shipping with no minimum purchase value, exclusive offers, movies and series on Prime Video, songs and podcasts without ads on Amazon Music Prime, access to hundreds of books and magazines with Prime Reading, three months of free Audible testing, and free games on Prime Gaming.
