Unicorn startup Factorial reaches breakeven and plans major expansion in Brazil after global success

Factorial, a unicorn startup developer of software for HR and payroll process management and centralization, reached breakeven – the point where a company achieves financial balance – in its Brazilian operations, just three years after its arrival in the country. The company, already established globally and ranked among the Top 10 promising startups in Europe for over 8 years, has expanded its presence to more than 65 countries, serving thousands of businesses with its HR management platform. Now, it is strongly focusing on expanding its operations in Brazil.

One of the decisive factors for this HRTech milestone was the product localization process and strategies implemented for the Brazilian market, which resulted in a 67% reduction in operational costs and an increase in its local customer base to over 60,000 active monthly users. With a 96% retention rate since February and an average NPS of 98 out of 100, Factorial demonstrates that its solutions not only attract new clients but also foster loyalty among businesses using its platform.

“Reaching breakeven in such a short time is a milestone that reinforces our commitment to delivering people management and HR solutions that truly transform how companies operate and their results. Brazil is a market with enormous potential, and we’ve already achieved impressive results by localizing our product. We are highly confident that this new phase will allow us to grow even further, helping Brazilian companies optimize their processes with cutting-edge technology,” comments Renan Conde, CEO of Factorial Brazil.

Now, with a solid foundation and breakeven achieved, Renan Conde shares that Factorial is ready to accelerate its growth in Brazil, a strategic market for the company. The company plans to increase its revenue by 2.7 times by 2025, combining continuous innovation and product customization for local needs. “The goal is to continue winning new businesses and strengthening the brand’s presence in one of the world’s largest HR markets. Factorial is here to stay!” highlights the CEO.
