Being successful depends on a series of factors, and the most important thing is not to limit yourself,’ he comments.

With a story of overcoming and reinvention, the entrepreneur from Bahia turned his R$3,500 investment into an international franchise network projected to generate R$45 million in revenue by 2025. With over 600,000 followers on social media, the businessman shares important entrepreneurial lessons that led him to success.

For the entrepreneur, one of the steps to business success is identifying opportunities, especially during crises. Therefore, he listed some advice for those looking to start a business. They are:

Segment definition- What may be an obstacle for some can be seen as a springboard by others. An example is the cleaning market, which saw continued demand for specialized services post-pandemic. ‘This is about looking beyond what you see at the moment—seeing the crisis as a laboratory of opportunities, as many promising businesses are born in difficult times,’ he states. 

Being aware of business fluctuations- Another fundamental point for a prosperous business is persistence and adaptation. The economy and market are not linear, so it’s essential to understand that the venture will also have moments of uncertainty. ‘Sometimes we think problems want to destroy us, but in reality, they don’t. They want to show us the path we must follow to achieve what we dream of. Ups and downs are part of it, like the beating of our hearts. Life was made for movement, so we must get used to this rise and fall,’ comments the businessman.

Strengthening online presence- investing in digital is also a major differentiator and a determining factor for business expansion. Digital platforms allow connecting with a larger audience without requiring significant capital. Today, there are various free tools available for businesses and professionals that, when used well, enable reaching more people organically. ‘Digital marketing, when done authentically, has the power to establish genuine relationships with the audience, creating identification through real stories and emotional connections. This not only boosts sales but also strengthens loyalty, increases credibility, and positions the brand as a reference in its segment,’ he explains. Additionally, being on social media enables transparent and fast communication, resulting in greater trust with the audience. ‘It’s interesting to show this so everyone can see that it’s possible to have a dream and pursue it,’ concludes Fritz.
