Sólides launches Brazil’s first AI-powered people management solution via WhatsApp

A Sólides, an HR Tech company for people management in small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced the launch of Start Sólides, an innovative solution developed especially for micro and small business owners with limited or non-existent HR teams. The tool enters the market to simplify fundamental people management tasks and currently covers the Recruitment and Selection phase. The key differentiator of Start Sólides is that it operates entirely via WhatsApp, without the need for a system, using a conversational AI agent capable of interacting via text or audio in a simple, practical, and natural way. With this innovative approach, Sólides eliminates technological barriers and makes accessible something that previously seemed exclusive to large corporations.

“Sólides’ mission is to democratize access to technology for micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, helping them become more competitive. Many micro-entrepreneurs end up handling various people management processes, such as recruitment, performance evaluation, and feedback, which leads to inadequate hiring and, consequently, financial losses. Start Sólides comes to transform this reality,” explains Ale Garcia, co-CEO and co-founder of the HR Tech company. A pioneer, Sólides is a SaaS that has established itself as a ‘one-stop-shop’ platform for people management that maximizes the results of Brazilian SMBs.

Start Sólides arrives to solve one of the biggest pains in the Brazilian market: high employee turnover. According to CAGED 2024 data, Brazil is the world leader in turnover, reaching an annual average of over 52%. Much of this happens due to mistaken hiring or the lack of adequate tools to assist in recruitment.

“Our clients already achieve an average reduction of 43% in employee turnover, generating significant savings for businesses. With Start Sólides, we want to bring this same benefit to businesses that still don’t have their own HR structure, democratizing access to efficient and accessible strategic people management. A company with 20 employees, for example, can save R$65,000 per year by reducing its turnover,” says Garcia.

“The recruitment and selection module is just the beginning. Our vision is to expand to other fronts of people management, such as time tracking, performance evaluation, talent development, etc.—all via WhatsApp, focusing on micro-businesses. We want to democratize access to strategic tools, always with the simplicity and accessibility this channel offers,” concludes Garcia.

Recruitment and selection at your fingertips
While other solutions may require technical knowledge from an HR or payroll professional, the Start Sólides recruitment and selection module works directly on WhatsApp, with no need for installation or integration with ATS (Applicant Tracking System) software, making it the ideal choice for entrepreneurs who lack HR infrastructure for more complex solutions.

Designed for business owners, the tool allows for simple and intuitive job posting creation via audio or text messages, organizes candidates based on specific criteria, offers suggestions to improve job descriptions and resumes, provides ready-made templates to speed up the creation process, and uses Sólides’ behavioral mapping concepts to increase hiring accuracy—all without requiring the user to install apps or register for specific job postings, speeding up hiring. Despite automation, Start Sólides does not eliminate human interaction: strategic decisions, such as interviews and hiring, remain the manager’s responsibility. “We don’t want to replace professionals but rather offer a tool for those who still can’t access structured and strategic HR,” says Ale.

Data from Sólides’ Employability Panorama, released last month, reveal that the idea of using Artificial Intelligence in recruitment processes is well-received by candidates. Steps like resume submission (84%), job recommendations (81%), and profile matching with opportunities (78%) had high acceptance for automation. However, traditionally humanized phases, such as interviews (59%) and onboarding (59%), are still seen as moments requiring personal interaction.

Sólides has been developing AI-based solutions for over a decade. In recent years, the company has strengthened its portfolio with technology-based products like the Unified Talent Bank and Sólides Copilot, reinforcing its positioning as a company that values innovation without losing sight of what really matters: people.
