With a presence in over 400 cities and an expected expansion to 1,000 cities by the end of the year, consumers can now choose to pick up their orders at Shopee Agencies, commercial establishments that also function as collection points for products from Brazilian sellers.
The new feature was designed to offer even more convenience and flexibility in the shopping experience. “Product pickup at Shopee Agencies offers consumers flexibility in choosing the best option for receiving their orders. Additionally, the service complements traditional delivery, bringing more convenience to those living in remote areas or who cannot receive deliveries at home during the day, for example. This is another way to make e-commerce accessible and tailored to the daily lives of Brazilians,” comments Rafael Flores, Head of Expansion at Shopee.
How to use the Pickup at Shopee Agencies option
At checkout, consumers can select the “Pick Up In-Store” option directly in the shipping option section of the Shopee app. The feature will automatically suggest the nearest Shopee Agency based on the registered address. If preferred, it is also possible to choose another location by clicking “Choose Another Pickup Location” and entering the desired ZIP code.
Once the order is available at the Shopee Agency, the consumer is notified via WhatsApp or email or can track the status directly in the app. To pick up the product, simply go to the Agency and present the PIN code provided in the notification.
Additionally, users can utilize the reverse logistics service for product returns through Shopee Agencies. The process can be initiated directly in the Shopee app.
