Santander launches first GenAI-based advisory tool in the Brazilian market

Santander took a decisive step in the digital transformation of the banking sector with the launch of Pitch Maker, the first structured advisory tool with Generative Artificial Intelligence in the Brazilian market. The solution, resulting from the partnership between the bank, BRQ Digital Solutions, a one-stop-shop partner in the business evolution journey and the leader in generative AI in the country, and AWS, the cloud computing services platform offered by Amazon, reducing the average time for analysis and investment recommendations from 35 minutes to just 30 seconds.

Created with the goal of enhancing the efficiency of investment advisors, while also scaling the customer experience, the tool uses Generative AI to analyze real-time data, understand the investor’s profile, and generate strategic financial approach suggestions. This way, each interaction is shaped by context and individual history, raising the standard of the bank’s relationship with its clients.

For this purpose, the technology behind the launch was designed to scale with performance. Outlined by BRQ, which for 7 years has been responsible for developing and incorporating new technologies in the banking institution, the solution adopts a microservices-based architecture on Amazon EKS and is built on Amazon Bedrock, AWS’s generative AI platform. This engine was trained and refined to ensure reliable, secure responses aligned with the institution’s standards.

According to BRQ Digital Solutions’ CEO, Rodrigo Frizzi, the development of the solution required a high degree of collaboration among the three companies. “AWS, Santander, and BRQ worked side by side at every stage of the project. Being aligned by the commitment to customer success made all the difference in overcoming challenges and building together a robust, secure, and highly effective Gen AI solution,” he emphasizes.

“True disruption is not about the technology, but what we do with it. This new reality will be built on three pillars: bringing closer, understanding, and anticipating. And our work with Pitch Maker precisely encompasses these characteristics,” concludes Frizzi.
