The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 was the most sold second-hand smartphone from the Asian manufacturer in the first four months of the year through OLX, with a 16% share among the Xiaomi models evaluated as most representative on the platform. According to the survey by the country’s largest classifieds marketplace for used products, the item is also the most advertised and the most sought after on the platform.
The survey highlights the growing interest of Brazilians in the Redmi Note line, which stood out as the most traded on the platform, occupying the top seven spots.

Double leadership among the most sought after
Among the listed models, the used versions of the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 12 were the most sought after Xiaomi models in the first four months of the year, with a 17% share each. Next are the Redmi Note 8, with 10%, and the Redmi Note 11, with 9% demand.

The most advertised
The Redmi Note 13 is also the brand leader in ads through OLX, with a 16% share, followed by the Redmi Note 12, with 13%. Third place went to the duo Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 11, both with 9% of the used Xiaomi smartphone ads included in the survey.

How to make an online purchase more securely
- Avoid taking the conversation to messaging apps and clarify all doubts through the chat and official channels of the platforms. This way, you have OLX support and contextual tips throughout your journey;

- Be wary of prices or offers well below market value;
- Check on the platform for information about the seller, such as account age, company registration if applicable, and licenses;

- In the case of an in-person purchase or delivery, choose public and busy places such as squares, malls, or subway stations. If possible, always go accompanied by another adult;

Always check, in the logged-in area of the site or app, your sales history and how your product will be shipped;
- OLX never requests confirmation or security codes, whether by phone, email, chat, or messaging apps. If you receive any contact on behalf of OLX requesting any code or password, report it on the platform;
