Razer to launch AI tools on Amazon Web Services that will revolutionize game development

Razer, the world’s leading brand in gaming lifestyle, has just announced the launch of its most innovative game development tools with artificial intelligence on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This initiative marks a significant advancement for the company, bringing its powerful solutions to the cloud, increasing scalability, and facilitating access for millions of game developers worldwide.

With 3.32 billion gamers worldwide and a market projected to reach $424 billion in the next decade, the gaming industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Mobile and cloud gaming are seeing their entry barriers become increasingly lower, while AI is transforming virtual worlds into smarter and more immersive experiences.

Designed to expand the possibilities for game developers using AWS’s generative AI services—such as Amazon Bedrock —the Razer Game Assistant and Razer QA Companion tools integrate with WYVRN, Razer’s next-generation gaming ecosystem created especially for game developers and based on artificial intelligence.

Developers empowered with AI-based automation

Initially introduced as Project AVA at CES 2025, the Razer Game Assistant uses advanced AI to provide real-time tips, personalized guidance, post-match analysis, and hardware performance insights. Trained with genre- and game-specific data and featuring direct gameplay integration, this technology enhances the player experience and marks the beginning of a new era in gaming, now further amplified by artificial intelligence.

Meanwhile, the Razer QA Companion is an AI-powered quality assurance tool that revolutionizes game testing. Like an intelligent assistant, it automatically detects and logs bugs, crashes, and performance issues, allowing human testers to focus on the game experience. The system can be easily integrated into QA team workflows, improving efficiency, shortening development cycles, and enhancing final game quality. Compatible with Unreal, Unity, and custom C++ engines, it offers pre-built models tailored to different genres, accelerating testing without requiring manual programming.

To further expand QA Companion’s capabilities, Razer has partnered with Side, a global provider of services to the gaming industry, to jointly develop advanced automated testing tools. This initiative combines Razer’s technology with Side’s world-renowned QA expertise, aiming to explore new approaches in QA automation. The collaboration promises to increase testing efficiency and significantly reduce time-to-market for games, benefiting both developers and end-users.

Large-scale innovation with AWS

Following a standout presentation at Game Developers Conference 2025, Razer is expanding access to its AI-powered Game Development Tools through AWS’s secure and scalable infrastructure. This expansion enables developers worldwide to optimize processes, boost productivity, and accelerate new game development. The tools are currently in beta testing with AAA and indie studios, as part of Razer’s vision to drive the future of gaming with AI.

Both tools were developed using Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed Generative AI (Gen AI) service that allows Razer to efficiently, cost-effectively, and securely integrate preferred models while leveraging cloud scalability to meet current developer demands. As a cloud-native solution, QA Companion accelerates testing cycles, improves bug detection, and enables faster releases—all for higher-quality deliverables in less time.

“With the launch of Razer’s AI-powered Development Tools, we’re thrilled to strengthen our partnership with AWS,” said Quyen Quach, Razer’s Vice President of Software. “For two decades, Razer has led gaming innovation, and now we’re paving the way for the future with artificial intelligence. By combining our prototyping agility with AWS’s cloud scalability, we’re enabling the next generation of game creation and development technologies. These tools give developers a powerful and accessible way to scale, reduce time-to-market, and enhance player experiences.”

“The gaming industry has pushed the boundaries of emerging technologies and transformed how games are developed and played,” said Gunish Chawla, General Manager of Commercial Sector ASEAN at Amazon Web Services. “Our collaboration with Razer demonstrates how AI-powered tools for gameplay assistance and cloud-based QA testing can accelerate studio innovation while maintaining quality and benefiting developers and players worldwide.”

Coming soon to AWS Marketplace

The Razer Game Assistant and QA Companion will soon be available on AWS Marketplace, making it easier for developers to access generative AI tools that transform game creation. With a streamlined acquisition process, AWS Marketplace will enable studios to quickly integrate these solutions into their production pipelines, accelerating innovation and time-to-market for their products.
