Filtrify, a platform specializing in affiliate tools, achieved a revenue of R$2 million without any external investment, a model known as bootstrapping. The rapid growth reflects the increasing demand for new ways to make money online. According to a survey by Instituto Real Time Big Data, 48% of Brazilians seek extra income to handle monthly expenses, which boosts the affiliate market and solutions aimed at this audience.
With 14,000 active clients, Filtrify has become a key player for professionals selling digital products and physical goods online. Its growth was driven by recommendations from professional affiliates, who earn millions annually and saw the company’s solutions as a major competitive advantage. This approach, adopted by only a small portion of startups, is becoming increasingly common in the tech industry, reflecting a global trend toward financially responsible growth. ‘Our growth happened organically. When top affiliates tested our tools and recognized their potential, they began recommending them to their audiences, which total around 3 million people,’ explains Paulo Silva, CEO of Filtrify.
Behind this growth is the trajectory of Paulo Silva, a professional with over 20 years of experience in the tech sector. Before founding the company, he had already worked on startups in the gaming and fintech industries, as well as at major companies like B3, Natura, and JBS. He was also CTO of Willbank, an experience that reinforced his strategic vision for technology and sustainable growth.
The strategy that propelled Filtrify was its ability to negotiate with digital marketing influencers. Once one of the industry’s top names adopted and promoted the tool, other influencers began endorsing it, creating a continuous traction effect. This organic approach allowed the company to expand its user base without needing external investments.
What sets the company apart in the market is its offering of a complete suite of solutions for affiliates. Currently, those looking to work in this segment need to hire multiple separate tools for each stage of the sales process, which can be expensive and complex. Filtrify solves this problem by providing an integrated set of solutions, streamlining everything from lead generation to final conversion. ‘Our goal has always been to simplify the affiliate’s journey, giving them all the tools needed to make their first sale and scale revenue more easily,’ Silva highlights.
With a thriving market and a growing client base, Filtrify has established itself as the top choice for affiliates looking to turn their pursuit of extra income into a profitable business. The combination of technology, strategy, and an engaged community continues to drive the company’s expansion and strengthen its position in the sector.
Looking ahead, the startup does not rule out future funding rounds but is already considering higher ambitions given the consolidation of its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and initial traction.
