The shopping experience has never been so simple and efficient. Chat-based payments are changing how businesses and consumers conduct transactions, providing speed, security, and convenience. Poli Digital, a pioneer in this transformation, has already processed R$6 million with its Poli Pay feature. The solution integrates and automates customer service on platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, thanks to a partnership with the Meta Group, which guarantees access to these networks’ official APIs.
Poli Pay is a solution from Poli that allows consumers to make payments directly within the chat where they are being assisted. According to Alberto Filho, CEO of Poli, the tool was designed to optimize the payment process efficiently and seamlessly, promoting a smoother and safer experience for both businesses and consumers.
Citing market research, such as data from Opinion Box, Alberto Filho notes that six out of ten consumers communicate with businesses via digital channels to make purchases. Thus, Poli Pay simplifies and, in turn, encourages the completion of transactions. ‘It has proven to be a very attractive feature,’ he evaluates.
One metric reinforces this analysis. According to Poli Digital’s CEO, nearly half (46%) of orders created via Poli Pay result in completed payments. This percentage is double that of traditional e-commerce methods, where customers create shopping carts before finalizing their payments.
‘Poli Pay is a payment method where sending and receiving charges are integrated into the centralized contact automation system of the solution we offer. This means that from the initial customer contact, through product selection, to payment completion, the entire process is handled within the same chat,’ the CEO explains.
While for customers it means convenience, for businesses, Poli Pay’s features help drive sales. Alberto Filho explains: ‘The tool’s interface allows the creation of product and service catalogs, with descriptions, prices, and images. Additionally, it enables the creation and sending of a ‘shopping cart’ with the option of a Poli Pay payment link.’
Poli Digital maintains partnerships with Mercado Pago and PagSeguro. Thus, Poli’s system integrates with both brands. ‘This integration provides consumers with diverse payment options—via boleto, Pix, or credit card. The selling business receives the payment through these institutions,’ states the CEO.
The company monitors and tracks all sales processing. ‘It’s possible to manage sales information by customer name, seller, payment method, and payment status,’ the CEO exemplifies.
