OmniChat raises 50 million reais and launches unprecedented solution enabling the creation of AI sales agents for WhatsApp

Established in the marketing and conversational commerce market, with over 42 million sales conversations recorded on its platform in 2024 alone, OmniChat launches Whizz, a solution that enables companies to create their own autonomous artificial intelligence sales agents, with quick and simple implementation, without the need for programming and development. The launch comes after the startup raised 50 million reais in a round led by Quartzo Capital and Altitude Ventures, with follow-on investments from Honey Island and Kaszek Ventures, which had previously invested in the company.

The startup, already positioned as a leader in chat-commerce in Brazil and an official Meta partner as a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider (BSP), developed Whizz Agent for sales and lead qualification and Whizz Copilot to boost the productivity of sales teams. With the platform, companies of any size can create and customize their own conversational AI autonomous agents. Brands can define the agent’s personality and tone of voice, customize it with ideal skills for their business, teach it about their products and services with a few clicks, and monitor performance to ensure continuous improvement.

“Whizz allows our customers to automate sales using generative AI agents, as well as increase the productivity of sales and customer service teams with Whizz Copilot,” says Maurício Trezub, CEO of OmniChat. “Unlike traditional chatbots that rely on predefined flows, our agents are autonomous, capable of conducting complete sales journeys with humanized and proactive conversations.”

Currently, over 500 brands use OmniChat to boost their results through conversational sales, including Decathlon, Acer, Natura, Grupo La Moda, and AZZAS 2154. The OmniChat platform operates on a SaaS (Software as a Service) model and helps companies reduce operational costs while enhancing sales results and customer satisfaction.

Agents created in the Whizz Studio environment can converse via text or audio messages, recommend products based on customer profiles, add items to cart, calculate shipping, generate payment links, provide order status updates, and engage inactive customers. The solution, which was in Beta over the past few months, has already shown significant results: with infinite scalability and 24/7 service, Whizz has reduced response times by 95%, unlimitedly increased service capacity, and boosted sales conversion rates by 30% for clients.

The AI agents were designed for immediate integration via WhatsApp on social media, e-commerce, QR codes, and marketing campaigns, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience. Both Whizz Agent and Copilot have native integration with major Brazilian e-commerce platforms like VTEX, Magento, Linx, and Shopify, enabling clients to start selling all their catalog products in record time.

For performance monitoring, the platform offers a comprehensive analytics dashboard providing metrics such as service volume, average handling time (AHT), satisfaction surveys, conversion rates, and sales funnel.

The 50 million reais investment will further accelerate the development of new AI features that deliver tangible results for clients. Additionally, the company plans to specialize the platform in other service verticals such as education, healthcare, and insurance, aiming to expand its presence in the domestic market and solidify its leadership in conversational commerce. The company projects doubling the number of conversations on its platform this year, transacting over 80 million conversations by the end of 2025.
