In 2025, Olist, an ecosystem of solutions for SMBs with over 50,000 customers, celebrates a decade in the market and, to mark this milestone, launches a special video series featuring testimonials from people who have been — and still are — part of this journey. The three-episode series brings together authentic accounts from employees, customers, partners, investors, and key figures who closely followed Olist’s evolution, revealing inspiring stories and behind-the-scenes insights about the company, which was created to drive businesses across Brazil.
“More than just telling our story, this series is a way to honor every person who has built and continues to build Olist with us. These testimonials share some of the key moments we’ve experienced together in our mission to create a positive impact for thousands of businesses in Brazil,”says Tiago Dalvi, CEO and founder of Olist.

Among the interviewees, Rodrigo Baer, co-founder and managing partner of Upload Ventures, Olist’s first institutional investor, reminisces about the company’s early steps and explains the reasons that led him to bet on the business during its very first week.
Also featured are Mari Dalvi, Product Manager; Amilton Paglia, partner and former CPO of Olist; Daiane Peretti, the first HR manager; Mari Vieira, executive secretary; and Jon Azzolini, the company’s first employee, ‘Olister number 1.’ Representing customers, Marcio Ribeiro, founder of X5 Music, a specialty musical instruments store, shares his experience with Olist.
In the second and third episodes, Paulo Passoni, managing partner of Valor Capital Group, responsible for the firm’s Growth Equity arm, and Alex Szapiro, managing partner for Latin America at SoftBank, join the series. Both are investors who played key roles in Olist’s market expansion and consolidation.
