Netshoes Run, the street race organized by the largest e-commerce platform for sports and lifestyle products in the country, will bring together 8,500 athletes at Marginal Pinheiros in São Paulo on August 24. This will be the largest race ever held by the company and takes place for the third time in the São Paulo capital, with tickets sold out since mid-July. The race kits can be picked up at the Netshoes outlet store on August 21 and 22, from 10 AM to 8 PM, and on August 23, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
The start of the longest distance, the half marathon, will be at 5:30 AM. The race will have five categories: kids’ run, 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and the debut of the 21 km route. The course along Marginal Pinheiros is known for being flat and ideal for both beginners and experienced runners looking to improve their times.
This year, the event is sponsored by adidas, in partnership with Soldiers, and supported by brands like Lindoya, Believe, Frooty, and Powerade, which will host special activations post-race. In collaboration with Spotify, DJ and influencer Rapha Lima will be responsible for energizing the runners during the event, along with curating exclusive running playlists available on the platform.
Social initiative and kit pickup
One of the highlights of the Netshoes Run is the runner’s kit, available in basic, intermediate, and premium versions, as well as a kids’ option. The T-shirts, developed in an exclusive partnership with adidas, come with the basic kit, which includes a bib number, medal, eco bag, and stickers. The intermediate kit adds a pair of socks and a visor, while the premium version includes a windbreaker and a water bottle.
Those who purchased the kits can pick them up at the Netshoes store, located at Rua Amazonas da Silva, 27, on the second floor. The pickup period begins on Thursday, the 21st, at 10 AM and ends on Saturday, the 23rd, at 6 PM.
Just like in the Brasília edition, runners can participate in a social initiative: anyone who brings a pair of used sneakers in good condition can exchange them for a branded fanny pack. The collected footwear will be donated to an NGO.
