In another initiative towards gender equity, Magalu launched this Thursday the “Luiza’s Women Entrepreneurs Seller Community,” which offers exclusive benefits for women entrepreneurs on the company’s marketplace. The support network, with Luiza Helena Trajano as ambassador, will focus on developing businesses created or managed by women.
“Women juggle all their responsibilities: home, children, job, and are still held accountable when something goes wrong, like when a child doesn’t succeed. They often feel overwhelmed and don’t receive recognition for all they do,” says Luiza Helena Trajano. “My dream is a country with full-time schools in every neighborhood, allowing mothers to work and dedicate themselves just like fathers. Until that happens, I’ll do what I can through Magalu.”
During the event, which gathered over 800 women at Arena Magalu, the benefits for those joining the community and looking to sell on the company’s marketplace were presented. Group companies—KaBuM!, Netshoes, Época Cosméticos, Estante Virtual, and aiqfome—will also offer special conditions for these entrepreneurs.
Magalu’s Benefits
All women entrepreneurs in the community will have access to a range of benefits, including: attending a monthly live session with Luiza Helena Trajano; accessing all UniMagalu content—free and exclusive courses for sellers on the company’s platforms; participating in in-person and online events; joining a WhatsApp group for networking and interaction with other businesswomen; accessing the community platform; and using ComSchool’s content track, plus two 95% discount coupons for the business school’s courses.
Women who are part of the community and are Magalu sellers will receive: discounted fees for six months or until reaching 300,000 BRL in revenue; one year of free storage in fulfillment and 12 months of free shipping; one month of zero copayment for Magalu Entregas; 100% of the amount invested in Magalu Ads in the first and second month credited back in the third month (capped at 3,000 BRL); discount on receivable advances; daily transfers for MagaluPay account holders; level 3 reputation for six months; mentorship program; and an exclusive area in the app.
The community will also have an acceleration program, aimed at boosting Magalu entrepreneurs with training, mentoring, and investment for sustainable growth on the marketplace. The program is divided into three phases—Onboarding and Training; Consolidation and Scaling; and Commercial Maturity. It will run every three months with a new group of entrepreneurs. The acceleration includes 100% Magalu-funded incremental investment, individual coaching, improvement plans, certification, and access to a VIP partner group.
Benefits at other group companies
At Netshoes, benefits will mirror Magalu’s, except for receivable advance discounts. At Época Cosméticos, benefits include reduced fees for six months; enhanced visibility in Época Ads; and an exclusive app section. At Estante Virtual, sellers will gain greater visibility in Estante Virtual Ads, and like in KaBuM!, businesswomen will enjoy reduced fees for six months and enhanced visibility in Estante Virtual Ads.

The community will foster connection, facilitation, and recognition through benefits for participants selling on Magalu’s marketplace. The project idea emerged after a company survey revealed that 36% of marketplace sellers are women-founded businesses, and of the remaining 64%, 19% are managed by women. Currently, the platform hosts over 360,000 retail partners, meaning the network could directly reach at least 198,000 women.
