Limousine delivers aiqfome purchases and encourages habit change in the countryside

aiqfome, the largest delivery app in the countryside and the second largest in the country, continues steadfastly implementing digital technology in the inland cities where it operates – and the latest initiative aimed at patrons of the app’s partner establishments has highlighted the importance of this paradigm shift: customers from the quiet region of Guarapuava, in the interior of Paraná, who shopped at Superpão Saldanha supermarket, Di Família Pharmacy, and MZM Atacadão da Ração pet store, had their orders delivered by a limousine that drove around the streets giving rides to customers who agreed to participate in the initiative. The activity was completely free of charge. The campaign was created by aiqfome’s marketing team and aimed to show people that shopping can be done in a different and extremely comfortable way: through delivery.

The idea was to create an interactive experience with customers so that, over time, these actions would lead to a change in behavior. For Diane, a pharmacist at one of the partner establishments involved in the campaign, Di Família Pharmacy, the aiqfome app has been helping local businesses grow. 

“The limousine campaign is very interesting because it brings visibility to the pharmacy and to aiqfome. An innovative initiative, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It’s great because it offers the kind of treatment customers deserve, a VIP service. We’ve had a partnership with the app for two years, and it has contributed a lot to reaching people we might not have reached at the pharmacy counter, but through aiqfome and the ease of making purchases, we’ve managed to reach this audience. I believe that over time, the trend will only increase customer demand for the app,” said the partner.

The goal of this campaign was, in addition to encouraging a change in habits in Brazil’s countryside, to show users that they can order much more than just food on the aiqfome app, and in a ‘different’ way – which is why we approached partner establishments from various segments, users with different profiles and different needs – says Gabriela Terra, Marketing Manager of the app.  

aiqfome is the first delivery app in Brazil, with over 6 million users and operations in more than 700 cities, making it the second largest in the country. Founded in 2007 in Maringá/PR, it has been part of Grupo Magalu since 2020, forming the food delivery vertical.
