The iPhone 16e, recently launched as a more affordable version of Apple’s new smartphone generation, has already seen a significant price drop since its market debut. According to data from Buscapé, the country’s leading price comparison platform, the model experienced an 11% reduction in its lowest price found, dropping from R$ 4,499 to R$ 3,999 between March 7 (launch date) and April 28. The median price also fell by 4%, decreasing from R$ 4,499 to R$ 4,316.
During the same period, the iPhone 16 traditional model also saw a price drop: the lowest price found went from R$ 5,398 to R$ 5,049, a 6% reduction. The price difference between the two models exceeds R$ 1,000, reinforcing the iPhone 16e’s appeal to consumers looking for an Apple device at a more competitive price.
Since its launch week, searches for the iPhone 16e have increased by 257%, while those for the iPhone 16 fell by 47%. The trend of price reductions for both models shortly after launch highlights the importance of monitoring prices to secure good purchasing opportunities.
