iFood, a leading Brazilian technology company in food delivery, and Decolar, the top travel technology company in Latin America, are joining forces to bring even more benefits to consumers and provide Brazilians with a new level of convenience and practicality. The first initiative offers up to 25% discount on accommodations for subscribers of iFood’s loyalty program, ‘Clube iFood.’ The two companies are exploring other ways to simplify and enhance the user experience.
“We are very excited about the new opportunities this connection with Decolar will bring to consumers,” says Henrique Iwamoto, Chief Investment and Partnerships Officer at iFood. “We’ve already transformed the way people order food, and now we’re changing the logic of offering convenience and services in general. This means more satisfied users with a connected and practical experience, which, in turn, results in more orders for partners and higher earnings for delivery drivers. All of this is driven by the strength of our network of solutions, fueled by a high volume of consumer traffic,” he explains.
“This partnership with iFood is another step in our mission to revolutionize the way people travel, combining technology and benefits to create an experience even more connected to people’s daily lives,” says Max Gonzalez Costa, executive director of the B2C Business Division in Brazil at Decolar. “We want to make travel more accessible, smart, and integrated into everyday life, enriching our customers’ lives with simple solutions and memorable experiences.”
Last week, Decolar became part of the Prosus group, a global technology company, following the completion of the acquisition process. iFood is also part of the group.
Clube iFood
Currently, the Club, with 13 million subscribers, accounts for 40% of orders placed on the platform—a key driver for increased consumption.
“We’ve been working to establish the Club as the most robust loyalty program in the country. iFood offers subscribers an increasingly comprehensive experience, with benefits both inside and outside the app. The partnership with Decolar expands this value proposition and reinforces iFood’s role as a hub of practical and advantageous solutions for consumers,” says Bruno Henriques, COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Marketplace at iFood.
The program, which initially aimed to increase restaurant orders, expanded six months ago to include the Market and Pharmacy categories. In the case of Pharmacy, for example, sales grew by over 40% after the Club’s inclusion.
How Clube iFood Works
For a monthly fee of just R$12.90, the Club offers various benefits, including 5 coupons of up to R$10, valid at all restaurants, discounts of up to 50%, and other exclusive coupons daily. Additionally, it includes free delivery for pharmacies and markets, expanding everyday savings opportunities. The program also offers experiences beyond the app, such as the new discounts with Decolar. New users can try the Club for free for the first 30 days.
