Havan announces investment of over R$ 250 million in Distribution Center in Barra Velha (SC)

Entrepreneur Luciano Hang was in Barra Velha (SC) this week to announce a new investment by Havan in the city, where the retailer’s Distribution Center (CDH) is located. Alongside Mayor Daniel Zimmermann, Hang visited the land recently acquired by the company, which is next to the CDH and will be incorporated into the current structure. With this, the total area will increase from 200,000 m² to 250,000 m².

The total investment will exceed R$250 million, including the acquisition of a state-of-the-art automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) for R$150 million and over R$100 million allocated to expanding the logistics complex.

“This investment will allow even greater speed and efficiency in our logistics. Our Distribution Center is the heart of Havan, where the products that supply all our stores across the country are dispatched. Expanding this structure is essential to keep up with the company’s growth and continue delivering excellence in customer service,” said Luciano Hang.

The entrepreneur also thanked the Barra Velha city government for its support, which has been a key partner in Havan’s expansion projects in the city. In addition to the economic impact on the municipality, the investment is expected to create new job and income opportunities, both during construction and the operation of the expanded area.

“We have always believed in Barra Velha. I take great pride in seeing how this city has developed in recent years and how much Havan has contributed to this growth. Today, we have over 2,500 direct employees at the CDH, and we will need even more people for this new phase of the project,” Hang added.
