A Zinz, a startup from Curitiba that connects franchises and construction companies for renovations and construction projects, is one of the 80 statewide selected in the second edition of the Anjo Inovador (Innovative Angel) program by the Government of Paraná. Each selected venture will receive an investment of R$250,000 for the development of products, services, and innovations.
For Zinz’s founder and CEO, Iuri Lenzi, this is a highly significant achievement. After all, the second edition of Anjo Inovador received 471 proposals in total. ‘Being among the 80 selected in this first call demonstrates that we have an innovative and impactful business, with a well-structured and grounded project,’ he emphasizes.
The funds will be applied to developing the solutions Zinz offers to the market. The platform provides online and automated intermediation for franchise construction projects across Brazil. Through Zinz, franchisees connect with service providers specialized in commercial renovations and construction.
The franchisee submits their renovation or construction needs for franchise openings via Zinz’s website, indicating architectural plans and requesting quotes. Zinz’s solution prepares a reference quote; once approved by the client, the startup connects service providers who submit their proposals through the platform. The franchisee then chooses their preferred option.
Next, the franchisee selects the payment method and deposits the amount into the platform. Zinz transfers the funds to the hired service provider—only after the client approves the services rendered. ‘We mediate the entire construction process, from the quote to the final payment. The franchisee pays nothing to Zinz,’ explains Lenzi.
Zinz was founded in 2020. Over the past 12 months, the startup has mediated over 70 projects for franchised store owners. The platform features a portfolio of 4,000 service providers nationwide, focusing on medium-sized projects with an average cost of R$80,000 per project.
