The year 2024 concluded with 921,412 marriages performed by Civil Registry Offices in Brazil, representing a 2.35% increase compared to the previous year. This growth reflects not only economic recovery but also the transformation of the sector, driven by the digitization of planning. In parallel, iCasei – the leading platform for wedding websites and registries in Latin America – recorded a 13% increase in celebrations on its platform, which has over 130,000 active couples.
“Several factors contributed to this growth. The strengthening economy allowed more couples to invest in more elaborate celebrations. Additionally, the digitization of planning, with the use of tools such as personalized websites, virtual invitations, and RSVP management, made organization easier for couples.”, explains Diego Magnani, CCO of iCasei.
According to the executive, recommendations from wedding planners and other industry professionals further boosted this growth. He highlights that the demand for personalization has increased, with couples increasingly interested in aligning the platform’s design with the event’s style and the couple’s identity. “Another highlight was the use of interactive digital tools, such as sending personalized messages and fun polls, which made the experience more dynamic and engaging for couples and guests.”, he adds.
At the forefront of innovation, iCasei continues to adapt to new market demands, offering technological solutions that enhance the experience for everyone involved. “With a satisfaction rate of over 80% among guests, WhatsApp RSVP was the platform’s most important launch in 2024. The redesign of the couples’ dashboard, along with innovations like the ability to add the event to their calendar when confirming attendance, are part of our commitment to offering increasingly integrated and personalized solutions for couples.”, emphasizes Magnani.
In terms of recognition, iCasei was awarded the 2024 Reclame AQUI Award, recognized for excellence in customer service. The platform responds to 100% of complaints and has the highest rate of customers who would do business again, reinforcing the trust couples place in the company. With over 2 million couples served throughout its journey, iCasei also surpassed the milestone of R$3 billion in gifts transacted, while maintaining an active base of around 100,000 users per year.
“The continuous growth of iCasei reflects our dedication to understanding couples’ needs and evolving with the market. The impressive numbers and commitment to innovation solidify our leadership in the wedding industry, helping millions of couples make their wedding planning simpler, interactive, and unforgettable. For 2025, we will continue to invest in innovative solutions that further ease couples’ journey on their big day.”, concludes Magnani.
