The Brazilian real estate market gains an innovative solution with the launch of GarantePay, a platform projected to reach 2,000 clients in its first year of operation, R$15 million in revenue in the first year, and an estimated payback for its clients of no more than 6 months. The service, led by entrepreneurs Pedro Almada, Darwin Maciel, Robson Gass, and Rogério Roennau from Rio Grande do Sul, aims to transform the sector by offering a more accessible and profitable alternative for real estate agencies.
According to GarantePay’s CFO, Robson Gass, the platform enables effective management of rental guarantees and helps increase partners’ revenue by up to 157%. Today, on average, 75% of Brazilians cannot rent a property without traditional guarantees, such as a guarantor, deposit, or surety bond. “GarantePay proposes a digital solution that eliminates intermediaries, allowing real estate agencies to open their own rental guarantee companies—a new business—and have full control of this operation, consequently increasing their revenue,” he concluded.
With over 70,000 real estate agencies operating in Brazil, the company projects reaching 2,000 new memberships in its first year of operation. The model was developed to ensure a quick payback, estimated at up to six months, making it an attractive alternative for real estate agency partners and other entrepreneurs seeking businesses with higher revenue and profitability at low operational costs.
GarantePay enables real estate agencies to create their own rental guarantee companies without depending on banks or insurers. The platform analyzes tenants’ payment capacity with criteria specific to the real estate sector, reducing defaults and streamlining all processes. Everything is done digitally, from electronic signatures to automated payment management and contract renewals.
