Divibank has just announced a partnership with the e-commerce platform
Shopify, with the goal of expanding digital merchants’ access to their
integrated payment orchestration solution. Through this collaboration, entrepreneurs
will be able to test the fintech’s payment platform directly at checkout,
which aims to increase credit card sales approval rates using smart routing
and AI. In addition to the credit card solution, merchants will also be able to
integrate with PIX.
According to Jaime Taboada, co-founder and CEO of the fintech, the proposal goes beyond
simplifying financial transactions: it’s a move to empower merchants
with more autonomy, liquidity, and control. ‘With this alliance, we’re not just
simplifying payments: we’re helping merchants accelerate sales, gain more
control over cash flow, and expand their businesses in a scalable way in
online commerce,’ he says.
On the e-commerce platform’s side, the collaboration with the fintech is seen
as a strategic boost to their customers’ experience, especially in a
scenario where agility in cash flow and scalability in payment methods
have become competitive advantages. Both companies highlight that
the initiative aims to strengthen the ecosystem of independent e-commerce businesses,
offering a more efficient and accessible alternative to traditional payment
methods, while also contributing to the professionalization of Brazilian digital retail.
