With the arrival of Carnival, new opportunities for temporary jobs emerge. In the live marketing and corporate events segment, the agency “Joia – Experiences that Transform” has increased its hiring of professionals for the season by 50% compared to last year.
The agency strengthened its team with 15 professionals, including promoters and producers, to work on promotional campaigns and activations during São Paulo’s street Carnival. “We selected professionals with experience in large-scale events and, at the same time, with the ability to quickly resolve any unforeseen situations that may arise,” says Flávia Morizono, operations and planning director at Joia.
The temporary workers are undergoing training focused on excellent customer service. “In addition, we reinforce our pillars of inclusion, respect, and empathy, not only towards guests and clients but also with our partners and suppliers,” highlights the executive.
The increase in temporary positions at Joia reflects the market scenario. Carnival 2025 is expected to generate over 32,000 temporary jobs, about 2% more than last year, according to estimates from the National Confederation of Commerce in Goods, Services, and Tourism.
Although the hiring period is only one month, “there is a possibility of permanent employment, especially for producers,” concludes Flavia.
