Brazil surpasses 150 million active users in mobile apps: an unprecedented digital revolution

According to the new State of Marketing Report by AppsFlyer, Brazil has just surpassed the historic milestone of 150 million active mobile app users. This number represents over 70% of the country’s total population, confirming smartphones as a central tool in everyday life, from work to leisure.

This digital revolution is profoundly changing the behavior of Brazilians, who use apps for everything: from shopping, financial services, and entertainment to education and healthcare. The rapid growth of the mobile user base creates a fertile environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting billion-dollar investments in the sector.

“Brazil is undergoing a technological transformation that impacts all sectors of the economy. Mobile apps are not just conveniences but essential engines for growth and digital inclusion,” says Renata Altemari, country manager of AppsFlyer in Brazil.

Beyond the social impact, the expansion of mobile apps moves billions in revenue, generates millions of direct and indirect jobs, and drives the development of a robust technological ecosystem, ranging from startups to global giants.

With the popularization of 5G and the constant advancement of digitalization, expectations are that the number of users will exceed 200 million in the coming years, solidifying Brazil as one of the largest digital markets on the planet.
