BBM Logistics appoints Jorcei Chiochetta as director of LTL and e-commerce transportation

BBM Logistics, one of the leading road operators in Mercosur, has unified the management teams for less-than-truckload (LTL) and e-commerce transportation. With this change, the company aims to expand its presence in e-commerce and offer more comprehensive coverage. Focused on end-to-end logistics solutions, BBM operates at every stage of the supply chain, from sourcing inputs to final delivery to the end consumer.

Jorcei Chiochetta, who for just over five years served as Director of LTL (Less Than Truckload) Business – an operation managed by the company Translovato – will now also lead all e-commerce operations for BBM, which operates under the Diálogo brand, another company within the group.

With nearly 30 years of experience in leadership roles in logistics and transportation, Chiochetta will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the commercial and operational strategies for both LTL and e-commerce segments.

According to Agapito Sobrinho, CEO of BBM Logistics, Chiochetta will play a key role in integrating the units, not only from an operational standpoint but also for the company’s growth and the level of service provided to customers.

“Specialized in e-commerce, the Diálogo operation is strategic in fulfilling our purpose of serving the entire logistics chain in an integrated and specialized manner, from raw material collection to last-mile delivery. This greater integration will further enhance the reach and quality of B2B and B2C transportation operations,” says Sobrinho.

In his previous role at Translovato, Chiochetta was responsible for leading and developing a team of over 2,500 employees, including managers, supervisors, sales representatives, and operators.

“With this greater integration of e-commerce operations and BBM’s robust LTL structure, we are even better prepared to ensure efficient and timely deliveries, exceeding customer expectations and fostering loyalty to Diálogo,” states Chiochetta.

In 2024, Diálogo recorded a monthly volume of over 1.7 million deliveries for major marketplaces and e-commerce stores across the country.
