Amazon Brasil has announced another step in the expansion of its FBA – Amazon Logistics program. The Nova Santa Rita (RS) distribution center, which has been operating the logistics program since 2024, will now also serve sellers from the states of Santa Catarina and Paraná starting August 11. With this expansion, partner sellers from these states will be able to send their products directly to the facility and have their logistics fully managed by the company, from storage to post-sale, ensuring even greater convenience and faster deliveries nationwide.
This expansion represents a significant advancement in Amazon’s logistics strategy, which, since 2010, has already exceeded R$ 888 million in investments in Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to R$ 90 million in Paraná and R$ 13 million in Santa Catarina. With the program’s expansion, Amazon allows these sellers to operate under their own local CNPJs.
With the removal of the requirement to establish a branch in São Paulo, the seller’s experience when joining the program becomes more streamlined. For consumers nationwide, the expansion means access to a greater variety of products with free shipping, faster deliveries due to regional distribution, and an enhanced shopping experience.
This expansion is the result of negotiations with the state government of Rio Grande do Sul and was accelerated by the efforts of Amazon Brasil’s local technology team, which reduced the technological efforts for the launch by 95%. The program will be available until the end of 2025 in the Distribution Centers of Minas Gerais, the Federal District, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, and Ceará.
How to participate
To participate in FBA – Amazon Logistics, the seller must have an active CNPJ in the eligible states and comply with the corresponding tax regime (Regular Regime or Simples Nacional, depending on the state), in addition to an active Amazon account. The process is simplified into three steps: 1) List products on FBA and set up Amazon Invoicing; 2) Create a shipment and prepare the products; 3) Wait for Amazon to collect the products or arrange shipment yourself.
