Amazon Brazil announces expansion of FBA – Amazon Logistics program operations in its Distribution Centers and reduces logistics fees for partner sellers nationwide

Amazon Brazil announces today a major expansion plan for its operations in the country: by the end of 2025, the FBA – Amazon Logistics program will also be present in Amazon’s distribution centers in Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, and Ceará. With this, partner sellers from these states, participating in the Regular Regime or Simples Nacional, will be able to send their products directly to these centers and have their logistics fully managed by the company. The distribution center in Nova Santa Rita (RS), which has been operating the logistics program since 2024, will start serving sellers from the states of Santa Catarina and Paraná as of August this year.

With a strong focus on growth in 2025, the company also announced that, in line with its commitment to boosting entrepreneurs’ success, it will reduce fees for all its logistics programs in the country, including FBA, starting August 1, 2025.

The initiative primarily aims to reduce operational costs for partner sellers, attract new entrepreneurs to e-commerce, and consequently enhance the shopping experience for customers by expanding product selection and offering even more affordable prices for Brazilians. In 2025, to increase delivery speed across Brazil, Amazon will continue expanding its logistics infrastructure, which already covers 100% of the country’s municipalities. This expansion represents a significant increase in service capacity in strategic locations, driven by the opening of new logistics hubs and increased transportation capacity, including through air partnerships.

“Our fee reductions are a direct reflection of the ongoing investment we are making in improving the experience for our partner sellers and customers. This measure reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting the growth of its over 100,000 partner sellers, 99% of whom are Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs),” comments Julia Salles, director of the FBA – Amazon Logistics program in Brazil. Since the launch of our retail operations in 2019, Amazon Brazil has grown exponentially. In 2025, it will be no different: we have a very ambitious plan centered on our customers. We will increase our product selection and offer increasingly faster and more reliable delivery options nationwide,” she concludes.

Launched in 2020, FBA – Amazon Logistics allows sellers to send their products to Amazon, which manages the entire logistics process, including storage, delivery, and post-sale customer service. Products shipped via FBA are eligible for Amazon Prime’s free and fast shipping across Brazil, boosting sales and visibility among Prime members. As an additional benefit, participating companies with active offers will have the opportunity to participate in one of Amazon’s biggest shopping events of the year, exclusive to members: Prime Day 2025, which takes place in Brazil on July 15 and 16.

For FBA – Amazon Logistics, there will be a reduction of up to 89% in logistics fees for products priced below R$79.00, with the implementation of a fixed fee between R$5.95 and R$6.35 per unit, regardless of size or weight, according to the product’s price range. This is a special offer valid until January 31, 2026.

Additionally, products priced between R$79.00 and R$100.00 will have their fees reduced by up to 39%. For items between R$100.00 and R$120.00, the reduction will be up to 30%.
