Consumer Week, celebrated annually with Consumer Day (March 15), has established itself as a significant date for Brazilian retail, being considered the “Black Friday” of the first half of the year. In Brazilian e-commerce as a whole, sales grew by 13.9% compared to the previous year during Consumer Week 2024, according to Neotrust data. And according to the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce (ABComm), the projection is that revenue will reach R$ 224.7 billion by 2025.
At the same time, the consumption trends for 2025 indicate that consumers are more cautious, prioritizing experiences and seeking more economical alternatives. Additionally, there is a growing demand for payment convenience and delivery speed, as stated by 37% of respondents in the Ecglobal study on consumption trends for 2025. Another finding from the same survey shows that 88% of respondents consider technology an ally when shopping.
Attentive to this scenario, Daki, an online market app and a reference in ultra-fast deliveries, presents its special campaign for Consumer Week 2025: “Clicked, Won Daki”. Every day, users who access the app receive a mystery gift, which could be a discount of R$ 5.00 to R$ 20.00 off, 5% to 10% cashback, or special offers on selected products and free shipping. The initiative aims to meet new consumer demands by offering exclusive flash deals, progressive discounts, and personalized benefits.
“Our campaign was designed to meet consumer expectations and follow trends, tailored for those seeking speed and personalized offers. We want to provide a unique shopping experience during Consumer Week, reinforcing our commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty,” says Felipe Carlo, Marketing Director at Daki.
With a positive projection for this year, a survey by Ibevar – FIA Business School shows that the first quarter of 2025 will be better compared to the same period last year, with a 3.42% increase in purchases and expansion across all categories in the IBGE classification.
With the campaign, the company hopes not only to boost its sales but also to contribute positively to retail performance during Consumer Week 2025. “This year, we expect a 40% growth compared to last year, reinforcing our path of profitable growth,” declares Carlo. “We are introducing this ‘Mystery Gift’ dynamic, betting on gamification and engagement, along with even more personalized discounts. We believe this strategy will help drive sales and further customer loyalty, making the shopping experience more dynamic and rewarding,” he concludes.
