99Food opens registration for restaurants across Brazil with a revolutionary model, no fees or commissions

99Food officially opens registration this Tuesday (29) for restaurants across Brazil that want to join the new food delivery platform from 99. Restaurants nationwide, which can register on the platform starting today, will not need to pay commission or monthly fees—costs that previously excluded many merchants from this system that brings convenience to the population and generates income for thousands of motorcycle delivery workers. When the service launches, businesses will gain immediate access to over 55 million 99 app users.

For the first time in Brazil, restaurants will be able to operate on a large-scale delivery platform without paying any fees or monthly commissions, accessing profit and growth opportunities—and not just through a temporary promotion. All restaurants in Brazil can benefit from this model for 24 months from the moment they register, reinforcing 99Food’s long-term commitment to the sector of always maintaining the best deal for those who truly make it happen.

By eliminating built-in costs and unfair commission structures, 99Food gives restaurant owners the chance to earn more per order while offering fairer prices to customers. This proposal will also give access to a large portion of Brazil’s 400,000 restaurants that currently offer delivery—many of which couldn’t afford the high fees charged today. With 99Food, they can finally tap into the growth potential that a digital platform like 99 can offer.

“Restaurants no longer need to give up a third of their earnings just to cover costs,” says Bruno Rossini, Senior Director at 99. “This is a revolution. We’re returning market control to those who cook and deliver. On an average order, restaurants can earn about 20% more than today—a real leap that turns delivery into a profit source while ensuring consumers get the most affordable food options on the market.”

With 99Food, restaurants won’t need to raise prices to cover fees and commissions—they can charge the same as in-store, attracting more customers with fair and affordable meals.

99Food’s model returns control to restaurants

Starting today, any restaurant in Brazil can register with 99Food and choose between two simple models:

  • Full Service:99Food handles the entire process, with a fixed delivery fee based on distance;
  • Marketplace:restaurants receive orders via 99Food but handle delivery themselves, maintaining full autonomy.

“This proposal isn’t a promotion. It’s a new standard—and it shows our commitment to always offering the best deal for Brazilian restaurants,” says Rossini. “We want to grow together: restaurants, delivery workers, and customers all benefit from a fairer, smarter model. Our ambition is to transform delivery and shape a new future for Brazil’s food sector.”

With over R$1 billion invested just in 2025 and a presence on the phones of 1 in 4 Brazilians, 99 is the best-positioned company to challenge the market and its major players—combining mobility, payment methods, and now food delivery into a complete convenience ecosystem.

Registration for restaurants is now open nationwide at: merchant.99app.com. Businesses will receive a 30-day notice before operations begin in their region. The consumer launch is expected in mid-2025.
