This year, FCamara, a technology and innovation consultancy, directed much of its efforts towards exponential growth in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Altogether, the company invested R$ 30 million in the last 12 months, focusing on infrastructure, processes, training and hiring, as well as applications for projects of its customers. This amount represents an increase of 1.400% compared to the previous year.
In 2024, the portfolio of projects focused on the use of AI in FCamara grew more than 500%, serving sectors such as health, financial and industry in general. These projects may be specific to AI or consulting solutions that use AI 5 both to accelerate the creation of new sources of revenue for customers, increase team productivity, among other objectives.
With this investment, FCamara reinforced its team of AI specialists with 80 hires this year, in addition to training and developing several executives from different business areas so that they know more and more about AI and work with it, enabling themselves to customize or create agents, for example. Today, the company already has more than 350 people fully qualified to develop consulting projects with the use of Artificial Intelligence.
“Artificial Intelligence requires a lot of research and development. Even if AI agents produce a series of results, there is always a need for customization, team engagement, creating new metrics and good practices. This takes time, study and investment. These efforts, both in investment and in training professionals, create projects of excellence, both internally and in what we deliver to our customers”, explains Joel Backschat, CIO of FCamara.
Backshat goes on to explain how the use of AI is already usual. “Even when a project does not have the demand for this technology, we necessarily deliver AI-based solutions.From chatbots and virtual assistants, which are simpler, to more advanced tools for development teams, capable of optimizing tasks such as writing, quality testing and coding, for example.
