MWC: Smart Connect bets on new moto AI features

Consumers need their devices to communicate intuitively so they can make the most of their day. Last year, Motorola and Lenovo established a unified digital ecosystem to create a seamless, multi-device experience with Smart Connect. More than 9 million users incorporate it monthly into their routine, relying on essential features like Screen Casting, Smart Clipboard, and App Streaming to make the most of their content and increase their efficiency. Today, Smart Connect gains powerful updates and AI features to make processes even smoother.

Seamless flow powered by moto ai

From the beginning, the Smart Connect has enabled seamless device integration and file management. Now, the moto ai is taking these experiences to selected devices. So, when users want to quickly rehearse a presentation while on the go, they can call on the moto ai to get what they need. With a simple voice or text command, they can stream cellphone content to the TV1 or extend it to the PC or tablet2. This way, they can enjoy the best of productivity, entertainment, and connectivity across various devices without lifting a finger.

With AI Search, consumers can use natural language to display documents like a bank statement, a rental agreement, or the hotel bill stored on the Lenovo YOGA Tab Plus (16GB) tablet. Let’s say a user is returning from a week-long business trip and needs to submit their expense report. They might forget to manually categorize various folders or files. Instead, they simply ask Smart Connect to “get my restaurant receipts” in a natural way, as if talking to a friend. Smart Connect retrieves the information in seconds, saving consumers time and energy.

Users can also turn to the new customizable panel that displays all their compatible devices, including the moto tag, moto buds, and notebook, all in one place. This makes it even easier to manage, add, or disconnect devices and check battery life. Consumers can leave home with peace of mind, knowing they have what they need. Additionally, the latest update offers third-party integration, giving more Android users the freedom to experience selected features of Smart Connect and seamless workflow.

Availability

The new Smart Connect will be available in the coming weeks on any Windows PC (10 or higher) via the Microsoft Store and on select Lenovo tablets and Motorola devices through the Google Play Store.
