Sebrae RS Buyer Project connects small businesses to large companies at Expodireto 2025

With the participation of six major companies from Argentina and 20 other large national buyers, another edition of Sebrae RS’s Buyer Project will take place on March 11 and 12, 2025, during Expodireto Cotrijal. In 2024, the initiative involved 25 buyers, 168 sellers, 400 meetings, and an estimated business volume exceeding R$ 8 million.

An international event that drives business and strengthens the agribusiness sector, the initiative creates unique opportunities for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to expand their markets and close deals with large companies in the metal-mechanical segment.

The event will take place at Sebrae RS’s collective booth in the afternoon and will feature business rounds focused on companies in the metal-mechanical and industrial services segments. Having been part of Sebrae RS’s annual calendar for ten years, the Buyer Project attracts large companies interested in establishing strategic partnerships with small entrepreneurs.

“This is an excellent opportunity for small businesses to access large organizations and offer their products and services. It’s a chance to generate connections and do business. Many large industries in the segment participate in the business rounds. It’s a very conducive environment to stimulate partnerships and showcase each company’s expertise,” emphasizes Jakson da Luz, sectoral competitiveness specialist at Sebrae RS.

Companies interested in participating in the business rounds can still register through Sebrae RS’s website. For more information and registration, click here

“Expodireto is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to get closer to major players in the agribusiness and metal-mechanical sectors. This model of Sebrae RS’s participation with micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises near large organizations has been a success. The 2024 results of Sebrae RS’s business rounds prove this. Therefore, we have no doubt that the results in 2025 will be even better,” highlights Armando Pettinelli Neto, Northwest Regional Manager of Sebrae RS.

Expodireto Cotrijal, which takes place in Não-Me-Toque, in the Alto Jacuí region, from March 10 to 14, achieved R$ 7.9 billion in business and a visitor count of 377 thousand people. In total, there were 577 exhibitors and representation from over 70 countries.
