On May 29th, the first-ever SIRENA – Human Risk & Cybersec Conference will take place in São Paulo (SP), bringing together major names in cybersecurity and awareness. The goal is to provide participants with a human-centered approach, with the unique feature of being less technical and more people-oriented—a factor uncommon among Information Security events.
The first edition’s program includes high-level panels and lectures featuring renowned speakers on topics such as human risk, fraud prevention, social engineering, culture and awareness, threat intelligence, among others. Additionally, there will be a special exhibitor area with a dedicated content stage.
“SIRENA is the perfect environment for knowledge exchange among leading cybersecurity professionals, managers, communicators, and educators,” says Marina Ciavatta, CEO and co-founder of Hekate, the event’s organizing company. “Each debate aims to help companies and organizations make their processes, policies, environments, and behaviors safer in daily operations, with practical tips, case studies, and market data,” she adds.
Program
The conference speakers and panelists are divided into two simultaneous content tracks. The first is “Human Risk,” hosted by Gustavo Marques and featuring experts such as Eva Pereira, Magalu’s Information Security Culture and Resilience executive; Juliana D’Addio, Santander’s Security Culture strategist; Marcela Negrão, Globo’s senior cybersecurity analyst; Lucas Moreira, founder of InvestigaOSINT; and social engineering specialist Marina Ciavatta.
The second track, Cybersecurity, hosted by Josué Santos, includes speakers such as IBM’s Cybersecurity executive Wolmer Godoi; Pirelli’s LATAM Information Security coordinator Divina Vitorino; Apura’s Threat Intelligence leader Anchises Moraes; Banco Carrefour’s Red Team and Threat Intel consultant Thiago Cunha; two members of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein’s cybersecurity team, Arthur Paixão and Débora Borel; and Threat Intelligence specialist Cybelle Oliveira.
