On September 16 at 11:30 AM (Brasília time), the Latam Retail Show sponsored by IBM will host one of the most relevant moments of the year for global retail: an unprecedented panel broadcast simultaneously between São Paulo and Paris, connecting the leading retail and consumer content platform in Latin America with the first edition of NRF Europe. The Brazilian event will take place from September 16 to 18 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.
The international meeting will take place in the special panel “From Department Stores to Lifestyle Destinations: Offering Services, Experiences and Hospitality” and will bring together major names in the sector. On the Brazilian side, Marcos Gouvêa, general director of Gouvêa Ecosystem, and Fábio Adegas Faccio, CEO of Lojas Renner, will participate. Representing France, the debate will include Selvane Mohandas Du Menil, executive director of the International Association of Department Stores (IADS), who will bring the European perspective on the impacts of tariff changes and the strategic adjustments required by the new global scenario.
According to Ana Paula Rocha, partner-director of Gouvêa Experience, this real-time connection between two of the largest hubs of global retail represents more than a technical advancement. “It is a symbolic milestone of the new era of collaboration and knowledge exchange we are experiencing. At the end of each day of the event, the Latam Retail Show audience will have access to an exclusive summary with the main highlights of NRF Europe 2025. The content will be presented by a direct correspondent from Paris, Stephane Engelhard, a Franco-Brazilian executive who has worked in multinationals such as Accor and Carrefour and currently holds seats on advisory boards and projects focused on corporate governance.
